Have Your Say in Greenwich Market's Future

Alex and Dave have passed on this letter that carries with it an urgency of intention. They feel that we should all have a say in what we want Greenwich Market to look like and how we want to go about doing that. Therefore, although the exhibition will be held in October, try to get as many people as you can to attend and make sure you mark your calendars.

The Greenwich Gazette
Here's the Letter:

Dear All,

Greenwich Hospital is holding a public exhibition to give members of the public the opportunity to view the proposals for Greenwich market and give their feedback. The exhibition will be held at 3-4 Nelson Road, Greenwich, which is beside the Warwick Leadlay gallery, on Friday 5th October from 2-8pm and Saturday 6th October from 12-8pm.

The exhibition will give details of the layout of the proposed scheme and will include an architectural model of the scheme, an artist’s impression and a description of the future market facilities. Members of Greenwich Hospital’s team will be available to answer your questions. I hope that you will be able to find time to visit the exhibition.

The information presented at the exhibition will also be available on www.greenwichmarketconsultation.org.uk and it will be possible to submit feedback via the website between 5th and 13th October. After the exhibition, feedback will be used to refine the Hospital’s proposals for the market and the Island Site.

Best wishes,

Elaine Cobb
