If you're still wondering what to do for Mother's Day why not take a different approach and spend the day with the family doing something fun. Think The Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park for a quirky take on the day.
The Ecology Park is holding a family fun event celebrating the time of year when frogs return to their breeding ponds and the mother frogs lay frogspawn! Activities include pond dipping, bug hunting, quiz and prize trails, froggy arts and crafts, storytelling, barbecue and refreshments, gift stall and raffle to raise funds for a traditional punt (type of flat bottomed boat).
Since this is also Mother's Day, mums and female carers get a free cup of tea and cake!
Free entry and all activities free - no booking required!

Next time I go I'm going to try to make it for one of the workshop days at the ecology park.
