well, I don't know when it's opening but the rumours are rumours no more. Tesco will be a feature of Greenwich up at Trafalgar road, and to be honest I am quite excited about the matter just for the fact of having one more place to shop.
Huh? More than one place to shop? There's the fishmongers. There's Theatre of Wine. There's La Salumeria. Get on a bus and you can quickly be at a butcher, a cheesemonger, a greengrocer, etc. Or do you do you all your shopping at the Co-Op? Who could get excited by Tesco, of all things?
I absolutely agree with you and that is why this blog is here to show that there are a lot of nice places in Greenwich. But my point was that Whimsy ChiChi just loves shopping for the sake of shopping and so one more place like Tesco just means more shopping. But fishmonger is wonderful, and Theatre of Wine is heavenly and it is unfair to compare them to Tesco. They are in a league all their own.
