Charity call for choirs who’ve got talent!

Greenwich Shopping Park off Bugsby’s Way in Charlton, is searching forschool, youth club and other community group choirs in the Borough to showcase their singing talent at the park this Christmas. The Park is giving local choirs the chance to sing at the Park to help raise funds for a charity of their choice, in a bid to help support the local community and bring a festive cheer to shoppers.

All funds raised will be kept by each choir to donate to their special cause. From hip hop to choral groups, choirs of any size and age are welcome to come to sing at the Park. A space will be allocated for the choir to perform beneath the sheltered walkways between the individual stores to help keep voices at their best.

Sian Nicholls, Greenwich Shopping Park representative, said: “Christmas isan important time of the year for us all and as a time for giving, what better way to help spread a festive cheer than to support the local community and charitable causes. We hope that we can get as many different choirs down to the Park to take part in our festivities.”

Choirs interested in singing at the Park should contact Helen Newton on 02920 764 100 or visit www.greenwichshoppingpark.co.uk for further details.
