Greenwich Picturehouse present King's College Choir and the Academy of Ancient Music performing Handel's Messiah as part of the Royal Opera House Live season.
Handel died on 14 April 1759, exactly 250 years ago in April 2009. On Palm Sunday this year, the Choir of King's College under Stephen Cleobury will perform Handel's Messiah. It will be broadcast live from the magnificent surroundings of King's College Chapel, one of the jewels of Britain's cultural and architectural heritage. The Choir will be joined by soloists from Royal Opera House and the Academy of Ancient Music.
